Lied Discovery Children’s Museum has been recognized both nationally and statewide for quality programming and creative education. Some of the most recent recognition for the museum includes:
- Lied Discovery Children’s Museum was named Best Museum in Southern Nevada by Nevada Magazine in 2011 and 2010.
- Lied Discovery Children’s Museum was voted Best Museum in Las Vegas in 2011 by the readers of the Las Vegas Review-Journal in the newspaper’s annual Best of Las Vegas poll. The museum has been recognized in the Best of Las Vegas poll 19 times!
- Lied Discovery Children’s Museum won the 2010 Parents’ Picks Awards in the category of Best Museum in Las Vegas. Parents’ Picks are awarded annually by Nickelodeon’s ParentsConnect.com. LDCM also won Best Kids’ Party Place in 2009 and Best Museum and Best Indoor Playspace/Partyspace in 2008.
- LDCM was named Best Place to Take the Kids by Las Vegas Weekly in its 2009 Vegas’ Best issue.
