Booking a field trip at Lied Discovery Children’s Museum is all about DISCOVERY!
You and your students will have the opportunity to explore the museum at your own pace. There are many ways in which you can enhance your visit. Shows and demonstrations are presented by staff and volunteers throughout the museum. These experiences are complimentary with your admission and vary each day. For more information about shows and program schedules, make sure to pick up the Daily Visitor’s Guide specific for the day of your visit.The exhibits are aligned with the Nevada State Content Standards allowing you to explore curricular concepts in new and interactive ways, while still meeting the curriculum goals of your classroom. You are encouraged to preview the exhibit descriptions and curriculum correlations, in advance, to make the most of your experience. Students will make meaningful connections as informal and formal educational experiences are integrated, yielding lasting discoveries that extend beyond the school and museum walls.
